Heading home

"A night at the St. Regis Shanghai, $250.....a night on the Great Wall, priceless..." (thanks, AFO board member, Michael Reed!)

It's time to get home. We've done it all. Great long walks in the hutong area of Beijing, silk worm factory tours, and the mother of all China experiences, an overnighter on the Great Wall. After that, there's nothing left to do but pack the bags and skidaddle.

I had a final chat with Chen Yi and Ye Xiaogang, a chance to recap the week and talk about future plans...setting the stage for future visits, commissioning and recording projects. It always starts with a conversation.

Tomorrow, last morning in Bieijing, a chance to pick up last minute gifts, 4pm flight home. Special thanks to Jane for posting these blog entries. I'm anxious to get back and see everyone again...
