What you're about to read may not make much sense. Too tired to see straight, let alone write anything coherent. An early departure from Shanghai, a full afternoon/evening of rehearsal and practice, a late evening nightcap, and you have one weary blogger.
Today was my first chance to hear the Chinese players make their way through In C, and they didn't disappoint! It's come together better than we could have hoped for. The concert will be fantastic....whew. After hundreds of meetings and rehearsals, it's so nice to have it boil down to actual playing. I can't wait to get on stage and give it a go....
